Commitment to Sustainability

At FSP, we are committed to prudently implementing green initiatives, including recycling, lighting retrofit programs, green housekeeping practices and energy optimization projects. We believe that green buildings help the environment, reduce operating costs, improve tenant satisfaction and enhance stockholder value.

We are pleased to report that over 70% of the buildings in our portfolio are Energy Star^® rated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and that approximately 40% of the buildings in our portfolio are LEED^® certified by the U.S. Green Building Council. In addition, we take great pride in reporting that FSP was recognized with the Green Star designation in the 2016 Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB^®) for the second year in a row.
